This scene was painted on one of those sunny winter days. I was driving around with another artist looking for something to strike us and this did it for me. I loved the long shadows playing against the white of the building.  I purposely let the 2 buildings meet in the center and offset this rule breaker with the forms created by the shadow and white of the buildings.
