My only local workshop for this summer will be at the BBAC in Birmingham, MI. 1516 South Cranbrook Rd. Birmingham, MI 48009.
This will be an early spring Studio Landscape Painting Workshop that will meet on Wednesdays over 4 weeks, May 22nd to June 12. (4 sessions total) from 9:30am to 4pm. We will be using plein air studies and photo references along with our memories (photos need to have been taken by you) to paint landscapes that are personal to the individual artist! Discussions on composition, scene selection, color, value, movement, light and the medium of oils will be discussed. If you are more comfortable in acrylic that is also o.k.!
Everyone has their own journey and my goal is to help you get on the right track to discovering the gold that is within you!
This will be hands on so come in with your supplies, sketches and photos on the first day! I will do demos and personal critiques to help spark you into the "happy zone".
